Setting up your company

Profile, service areas, inspection types and prices, credentials, the pre-inspection agreement, a payout account, and your inspectors — the order that gets you your first request.

A company account has one job before anything else: become bookable. An agent can only pick you if your service area covers their property, you offer the inspection type they want at a price, and you can be paid. Everything here lives under Settings, and the order below is the order that matters.

1. Company setup (first sign-in)

The first time a company owner signs in, the app asks for the basics before anything else: Company name, Address, State, Phone, Contact email, and a License number for your first credential. Finish setup creates the company and drops you on the Requests queue — empty for now.

Everything on this screen can be changed later under Settings → Company info.

2. Service areas

Settings → Service areas. Draw the area you cover directly on the map: tap to place the corners of a polygon, close it, and it is saved. Draw more than one if you serve separate regions. The list under the map shows each area; Remove takes one away, and requests for properties inside it stop reaching you.

This is the gate. A property outside every one of your areas never shows you as an option, however good your rating.

3. Inspection types & pricing

Settings → Inspection types & pricing. Every inspection type the platform knows — general, radon, mold, pool, termite, sewer scope and the rest — is listed with a typical price range for reference. Enter your price for each one you offer and Add; Update changes it later, Remove stops offering it.

Agents see your price on the company card in their wizard. It is the price they pay; the platform fee comes out of it, and the request shows you your share before you accept.

Currency. Your prices are in your payout currency (Company info). Changing that currency is blocked while any offering is still priced in the old one — a £300 inspection is not a $300 one, and the app will not convert for you. Remove and re-add each offering at a real price, then switch. Prices on appointments already booked are untouched.

4. Credentials

Settings → Credentials. Submit each credential — state license, association affiliation (ASHI, InterNACHI), E&O insurance — with its number, state and expiry, and Submit for verification. Our team reviews it; once verified, it shows as a badge on your card when agents choose a company. Expiring credentials get a reminder before the date; an expired one loses its badge until renewed.

A badge is what an agent has to go on when they have never used you. Verified credentials are the single biggest thing you can do for your conversion.

5. Pre-inspection agreement

Settings → Pre-inspection agreement. This is your agreement — the scope of the inspection, its limits, liability — that every agent must sign before you can assign an inspector. Paste your text; the app versions it, so a signature always records which version was signed. Keep it in plain language: the agent reads and signs it on a phone.

Until you publish an agreement, no appointment of yours can be assigned.

6. Payout account

Settings → Payout account. Where the money goes. For USD, GBP, EUR and other card currencies, Connect payout account takes you through Stripe's onboarding (identity and bank details are collected by Stripe, not by us). For naira, enter your bank and account number and Flutterwave verifies it. The screen shows Payout status and, once connected, the timing: you are paid a few days after each report is delivered, not at booking — How payment works has the exact rule.

You can accept requests before this is connected, but nothing can be paid out until it is.

7. Inspectors

Inspectors → + Add inspector. Enter their email and name and Send invitation. They get an email; accepting it creates their account as an inspector on your company. Remove ends the association. An inspector sees only appointments assigned to them, and the inspector guide is written for them.

Only inspector accounts can be assigned to appointments. If you carry out inspections yourself, invite yourself with a second email as an inspector.

Ready

With areas, at least one priced offering, a published agreement and a payout account, you are bookable. Requests arrive in the queue; the next guide is what to do when they do.
